O'Death (myspace) starts a two-night headlining stint at the Merc tonight, and I can't think of a better way to shake off the pre-holiday crazies. Made sure to see them twice during CMJ, though I missed the 23-song sweaty Union Pool set; they've gotten tighter, have some encouraging new material.
Awful, the reason behind their cancelled European tour dates, but it's good to have the guys out hollerin' again.
ALSO: RCRDLBL is hosting a new long unavailable older O'Death song (thanks, BV). And the songs from the 7" the band released a couple months ago are also available at eMusic.
But what matters is going to the shows. Come! Rumpus!
(I've got no idea what a "Meowskers" is and no desire to find out. Might as well call yourselves "LOLCATS: TEH BAND.")
Meowskers are alright. They played my CMJ show, kind of a rocking pop
group. Check 'em out since you're going already.
