PR Reps/Labels/Bands:  At this time, I am not accepting any free product.  If I like an album, I'll buy it.  (Who would I be to recommend a CD I haven't bought myself?)  Links to album streams, MP3s, or myspace pages can be sent to the e-mail address above - though frankly I pay little attention to press releases and their ilk. Sorry.

For All Mankind

I asked for exploding things, you have shown me exploding things.  And lip-synching the theme song to a puppet show, nice touch.  Mwah, Tin Foil Hat Brigade, you win again.

The Boston Boppers - Did You Get What You Wanted? (mp3)(buy)

Rocked like a rocket.  One giant leap into Glam, this 1974 song from The Boston Boppers is more Monster Mash than Space Race, but (1) it's been stuck in my head for eons and (2) it's from a fun compilation called Boobs.  Reasons enough to include it here.  I know nada bout the Boppers, if they recorded anything else ("Did You Get?" was apparently originally on a 45 b/w something called "Whirlwind") or if there were even from Beantown.  But this is evidence enough that they bopped.  If you try sometimes, you get what you need.
