MP3s that appear on this page are available for a limited amount of time; they are posted for illustrative or promotional purposes.  Everyone is encouraged to support the artists and buy their work.  If you are an artist or artist's representative and object to having the music posted, please contact me at the above e-mail address.

PR Reps/Labels/Bands:  At this time, I am not accepting any free product.  If I like an album, I'll buy it.  (Who would I be to recommend a CD I haven't bought myself?)  Links to album streams, MP3s, or myspace pages can be sent to the e-mail address above - though frankly I pay little attention to press releases and their ilk. Sorry.

In Which the Internet Crawls Up its Own Asshole and Spits Itself Out, Again

posted 02/13/2008

A few questions about the following clip (via S/FJ-corporate)where myspace-spawn Lily Allen (whom I still love, with an asterisk) welcomes YouTube-spawn Tay Zonday on her new television talk show Self-Mocking Reference to Andy Warhol's Theory of Fame with Lily Allen:

  1. Do people in Britain applaud commercials, even without prompting?
  2. How long will it be before Lily is able to ask tired, obvious questions without reading them off blue cards?
  3. Why must all the guests be uncomfortably close or ninety feet away?
  4. Cuba Gooding, Jr.  Seriously, what's going on with that?
  5. Will I ever, ever, ever be able to enjoy "Smile" again?
  6. How's that second record coming?
  7. How long before I stop caring?
