Waiting to exit the ferry at Skagway, Alaska.

The screensaver on my laptop is a slideshow that flips through the thousands of photos I have from my trip a few years back. Not a good choice, as far as screensavers go. A reward for not doing anything. It's embarrassing that I've never fully gone through the pics other than to delete the obvious uglies. I'd uploaded a few each day from the road, a good way to be choosy, but there are others that deserve to be chosen and tweaked and shared.

We got our first noticeable snowfall in the city, today. Looked great coming down, but it's already being rained away into slush. We can't have nice things.

This is what I need to be seeing, right now. Not snow, just space. And no people! This is from the stretch of road I roamed when first off the ferry in Alaska. Look at all the no people! I have a horrible feeling that someone's brought the internet there, since, and ruined the whole thing.
